SIDDEN-Del of Bohemia, New York (formerly of Wheatley Heights) on February 20, 2006 in her 85th Year. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Mother of Harold and Beth and mother-in-law of Marie. Cherished grandmother of Kate, Annie and Laura. Reposing Moloney's Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma, New York where a Religious Service will be held Thursday 11:00AM. Interment following Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York. Visiting Thursday 10:00 - 11:00AM

Conversation with Harold Sidden 4/7/07: Harold called and we shared some information - appears there was a big falling out among Ethel, Grace, Del and John in between the time John McCrickert died (December 1955) and Elizabeth McCrickert died (January 1956). It appears that Elizabeth decided to give her wedding rings to Del. This upset Grace who was the oldest and felt that she should get the rings. A few weeks later, Grace sent John to go and confront Del and take the rings. It appears that John hit Del and was arrested. There was no real contact after that.
