From R. Jackson 27 Nov 2010: I was cleaning up today and ran across an old Bible given to Jannette Jackson. It had the dates for the twins that died shortly after birth. Both born 3 November 1903. Mary Catherine died 24 January 1904, Santa Rita, Bahia, Brazil. Ernestine Beazley died 26 January 1904, Santa Rita, Bahia, Brazil. With both dying so close together I suspect some sort of illness sweeping the town.
