    [The article identifies this as Ephraim Morton, son of George, grandson of Ephraim, great grand son of George.] [p. 17:51] On 20 Mar 1717/18, letter of administration granted to "Hannah Morton Relict widdow of Ephraim Morton late of Plymouth dec'd"
    [p. 17:54] Dated 3 Apr 1727, "The Settlement of ye Reall Estate of mr Ephraim Morton late of Plymouth ... deceased Intestate" names "The Children of ye S'd deceased being : Samuel morton : Elkanah morton : Benjamin morton Cornelius morton : & Ebenezer morton" and "mrs Hannah Cooke now ye wife of mr John Cooke of Kingston ... who was ye widdow of ye afores'd mr Eprhaim Morton". It subsequently further identifies "Samuel Morton ye Eldest Son", but does not comment on the other sons.
