Notes

Donegal Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, was organized in 1722. The first settlers of Donegal were principally Ulster emigrants and among those listed were the Litle brothers, Nathaniel and Ephraim.

Nathaniel and Ephraim settled in Donegal between the years 1726-1730. The brothers spelled their name Litle, their children Lytel and their descendants Lytle.

Ephraim had the following children: Three Sons, Joseph, Nathaniel, Ephraim; Six Daughters, Martha, Ruth, Jean, Rebecca, Priscilla, Elizabeth.

Ephraim Lytle of Mount Joy Lancaster County died January 1776, Leaving a wife Jennet (?) and children; Joseph, Rebecca, Nathaniel, Priscilla, Ruth, Ephraim, Jean, Elizabeth.

Ephraim Lytle was born in the North of Ireland in the Year 1714, and died upon his mansion farm January 1, 1776.
