Obituary ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. EMMA GARDNER

 Mrs. Emma Gardner, 79 years old died early this morning at their home, 1123 South Richards street, following a lingering illness.
 She is survived by two sons, Frank and William, two daughters, Mrs. Howard Lapping and Mrs. Charles Fallinske, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of Joliet; one brother, Paul Hossler, and one sister, Mrs. Jefferson Randall, of Syracuse, N.Y.
 Mrs. Gardner was a member of the Altar and Rosary society of Sacred Heart church.
 The funeral will be from the home at 9 o'clock Monday morning to Sacred Heart church at 9:30 o'clock.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
