Hocking Co.,Oh.[p 37 fam #522/515], and on the 1870, age 12, with parents there.[p 453, fam #168/168] She married (1) Amos TIPPLE 23 Jan 1880 in Darke Co., Oh.[DkCoM, p. 291] Amos died before 1898. Emma married (2) Henry ARMSTRONG about 1898 in Darke Co., Oh. He was born Apr 1851 in Oh. On the 1900 census, we find Henry Armstrong, 49, is a day laborer in Jackson Twp., City of Union, Darke Co., Oh. Wife Emma E., 39 , caring for the home. Emma declares they have been married 2 years. She has born 8 children, 7 living at this time. In the home we only see three children. Also in home is her sister , Mary Beery, widow.[ED 60, p 27A, fam #262/279]
