After the death of Frederick Charles Blewden, Emily came to Canada with her daughter Hilda. Later she returned to England and brought back her son Fred.
Emily remarried to James Herman Hart, some time after 1923. Mr. Hart was a widower, who moved to the Swanson area, with his children, from Birtle, Manitoba.
Fred and Hilda acquired 3 step-brothers and 2 step-sisters from that marriage.
