Patrick Jr. inherited half of “Long Island,” Campbell Co., VA; one daughter, Elvira Ann Patrick, was born after his death. Ten years later the widow Elvira married James Bruce who became first “agriculture” millionaire in America. At his death, he was the third wealthiest man in America.
