Elsie was Laura's daughter from a previous marriage.

In the 1920 US Census she is living with George Cline (her step-father) and mother. In the 1910 and 1930 US Census she is shown living in Ripley wit her grandfather, A. H. Pringle.

Married the same day Vance Cline was born.

Shower for Recent Bride

At the home of Mrs. John Guinther in Ravenswood one evening last week, a miscellaneous shower and party was given in honor of Mrs. Joesph McCoy, a recent bride. Mrs. McCoy, before her marriage on October 22 was Miss Elsie Click of Ravenswood. The honoree received many lovely and useful gifts from her friends present.

The wedding of Miss Click, the manager of the Alpine Theatre in Ravenswood, was announced last Monday. The marriage took place in Baltimore, Maryland and after a short wedding trip the newlyweds returned to Ravenswood.

Mrs. McCoy is the daughter of Mrs. George Cline of Elizabeth.

Mrs. John Gointher, hostess at the shower, served delicious refreshments to the following guests: Mrs. McCoy, the honoree, Mrs. Othle Linelcome, Miss Betty Linelcome, Mrs. Onnie Powell, Mrs. Fred Bare, Mrs. Carl Linelcome, Mrs. Frank Fling, Mrs. Ira Linelcone, Mrs. A. L. Cottrill, Mrs. C. E. Leeson, Mrs. M. J. Click, Mrs. Goldie Ritchie, and Mrs. Marie Brokaw.

Funeral arrangements by Franklin Funeral, Parkersburg. Rev. David Spence officiated. Interment in Center Valley U.M. Cemetary [near Garfield].
