Not left well off by her husband. In 1706, her sons-in-law Eleazer Arnold and Thomas Hopkins agreed that they would care for her, in exchanged for the personal estate she recieved from her husband. Two weeks later, an agreement was made transferring her lands and estate into the hands of Maj. William Hopkins, Mr. Joseph Williams and the Justices of Providence, for the care of herself and Benjamin her (apparently retarded) son.[1] References
