  2. Estimated birth about 1740 is a guess based on #S1, where Elizabeth is listed between William, b. 1735 and Stephen, b. 1743. While there is no hard evidence that #S1 is wrong in its ordering of the children, there is a good chance the ordering is invalid. The data about various of Elizabeth's siblings suffers from errors, omissions, and many questionable values. Pertinent to Elizabeth, of these problems, is the likelihood that Abigail was born 15 years earlier in Connecticut rather than in Athol between Stephen and Peleg. This in turn creates a gap where perhaps Elizabeth fits more naturally than where she is placed. Elizabeth is named last of the daughters in her father's will, so probably is the youngest daughter. Her husband is born abt. 1742 based on age at death, so ignoring #S1, it would be more likely to estimate that Elizabeth was born between Stephen in 1743 and Peleg in 1748, rather than before Stephen.
