Based on her age, and the marriage records description of her being "of Narrangansett, No. 1" [i.e., Buxton before incorporation], she was probably a daughter of Ephraim Sands who moved there as early as 1754 (Source:Ridlon, G. T. Saco Valley Settlements and Families (1894), p. 107). Ephraim published his intention to marry Elizabeth Jones in Biddeford in 1743 (NEHGR, p. 71:217). But I have yet to find a list of his children to support this.
