Elizabeth Meglamre, married there in Sussex County on January 2, 1794 to Philip Bailey, son of Henry and and Wilmoth (Wyatt) Bailey, born 1763 in Virginia. Philip had previously been married to Ann Whitehorn, daughter of John and Elizabeth Whitehorn. Elizabeth died in Jarratt, Sussex County on August 31, 1933. Philip died there September 21, 1834. They had three daughters: Zilpah (married Nathaniel Whitehorn); Elizabeth (mrd Seymour Northcross); and Martha (mrd William Newsom).
