  2.   It is not certain that she was a daughter of Nathaniel Harmon (c1615-c1693). One alternative is presented by Source:Davis, Walter Goodwin. Ancestry of Lydia Harmon, 1755-1836, Wife of Joseph Waterhouse of Standish, Maine, p. 8, who says her parentage is unknown but she may be the daughter of James Harmon of Saco. After the death of James, his widow Sarah was found in Boston by 1690 and his sons James and Samuel both ended up in Boston.
