Enoch had a daughter named Elizabeth Coombes. Her godmother was Joane, Lawson, Reade, Mounten, Tyler, Beall, wife of John Beall, immigrant of 1670. Joane left Elizabeth a legacy in her will of 1675. ...

    On 20 Mar 1664/5, Enoch Combs demanded land for himself, his wife, his son Enoch and a servant. A daughter is not mentioned. Either Elizabeth was born after March 1664/5, or she was deemed not worthy of mention, being a very young girl.

  3. Her birth place depends on her birth date, as her father was in Lancaster County, Virginia April 1660 and in Calvert County, Maryland in 1663/4 (see her father's Find A Grave page). She may have been born earlier, before her father emigrated from Scotland, or later, after not being mentioned in 1664/5 (see her father's Find A Grave page).
