Daniel Waterman [#55] m. (2) Norwich 20 Apr 1763 Elizabeth Haskell. Daniel was over 61 and a widower and his wife assumed to be a widow. The wife of Roger who d. 1759 seems most likely based on age, and is known to still be a widow March 1762. Widow of Daniel Haskell was too young and widowed too many years earlier to be a likely choice.
- Source:Hillhouse, Margaret P. Historical and Genealogical Collections Relating to the Descendants of Rev. James Hillhouse, p. 76, says the widow of Pelatiah Fitch, Elizabeth Choate, m. --- Partridge and gives a death date. This is clearly incorrect as she married Roger Haskell, as seen by her husband's probate and cited sources.
