One World Tree has a death year of 1703, but this most likely reflects an incorrect merging of records for two different individuals - one of the weaknesses of One World Tree. IGI has two records of this baptism - one with the father's name as Edward and the mother's name as Elizabeth and one with only the father's name. The latter (in which the family name is spelled Bennit) is likely more authentic, so it is questionable whether even indicating that Elizabeth's mother's name was Elizabeth (as I have done here) is accurate.

There is nothing to link this Elizabeth's father Edward to Edward Bennett of Rehoboth or Edward Bennett of Rhode Island (other than incorrect merging of records at One World Tree).
