There are reasons to believe the 28 Feb 1770 birth date applies to a different Elisha Child. Since this is the date given in the secondary sources named on the Parent's Family page (where a more detail discussion may be found), it has been included here until further confirmation or refutation is found. These same secondary sources identify Elisha's marriage as 1790 to Abigail, and vital records give the additional information that her name was Abigail Winch.
