wife, Jane, to live in mansion house on 240 acres in Elk Twp. for 10 years, receiving 1/3 of rents & proceeds
after 10 years, to be sold, 1/3 to wife, remaining 2/3 divided equally among other chidlren except John is only to receive $5
Harry B. or Harvey B. to farm the farm, keep it in order, pay the taxes, give 1/3 of the proceeds to my wife, Jane, and youngest son, Eli, Jr., for 10 years
When sold, 1/3 of proceeds to wife, remaining 2/3 divided between all my children except John:
George W., Samantha Sharkey, Andrew J. Dunkle, Henry Dunkle, Harvey B. Dunkle, Clarissa Brown, Eli Dunkle, and the 2 children of Harriett Barger, deceased.

Morgan's Raid

SIXTY YEARS AGO
Sixty years ago Friday July 20, 1863, John Morgan with his raiders passed through Vinton County, coming from Vinton Furnace where they pressed in Manager -- Brown(__) of the Furnace Co., to pilot them through to the main road that leads north into Hocking County. They arrived at the Eli Dunkle place now Geo. (__) Wrightsel's farm 1 1/2 miles from here late in the night the 20th, gathered up several of the farmer's horses and foraged off the country f(____) food, leaving there along about 10 o'clock on the 21st and camping that night on the Karns farm at Creola.
