Syracuse Herald-American, 28? June 1942: MRS. ELECTA C. BARBERY Mrs. Electa Collins Barbery of North Bay, widow of Walter Barbery, a Civil War veteran, died Saturday after a short illness. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge of North Bay, of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and of Root Relief Corps No. 20. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Becker and Mrs. Zorena Johnson; three sons, Walter, Eugene and Grover Collins; a brother, Elverton Collins; a sister, Mrs. Charles Meyers, 16 grandchildren... The funeral will be conducted ... Tuesday at the Carl J. Ballweg Funeral Home... by the Rev. Glen A. Coon. Burial will be in Verona.
