1914 - Eileen died as a result of Quinsy. Family stories relate that as Eileen lay on her deathbed slowly choking, the family sent for a priest to administer the last rites. The local priest, Father Shine, refused to come because it was 3 miles out of town and suggested they bring her in. From that day on the family denounced the Catholic Religion.
