    Edwin Nathan Cooke of O'Brien, Ore., died at Cave Junction at 8:35 p.m. on Monday, May 26, from a heart attack. He had lived at O'Brien since 1931. He was born at Elmsburg [sic], Ore., on Aug. 3, 1885 [sic].

    Survivors are his wife, Lela M. Cooke; his mother, Lois M. Cooke, living at Bellingham, Wash; his brothers C. P. Cooke of Bellingham, Wash., J. S. Cooke in Alaska; five sons and one daughter, Edwin N. Cooke, Butte, Mont., Ellsworth Cooke, Butte, Mont., Gordon S. Cooke, Malaga, Wash., Gladys E. Crowe, Hood River, Ore., and Cpl. James C. Cooke in England; and 12 grandchildren.

    Services will be at 2 o'clock Wednesday at the Kerby Cemetery, the Rev. George Gray of Cave Junction officiating and the State Guard assisting at the service.

    Funeral services for Pfc. Edwin Nathan Cooke will be held in the Legion Hall at Cave Junction at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Full military services will be under the command of Capt. R. J. Baumberger of the Oregon State Guard. A chaplain from Camp White will officiate. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
