donald what i know edward came to ala between 1885--95 from whites co. ga. the romer is that he killed a man in whites co, also what i rember is he was allways talking about fannnin co ga. i have one edward born in 1858 desend from joseph that could be the same only birth dates are not the same but knowing my grandfather 1858 may right, he mirried one unknown had at two children. married two mollie ash she died nov. 5- 1920 buried old sards cem, jackson so are most of his children marred 3 nellie stewart, buried she and edward buried buied old sards cem. now here is the strange part he and tyre was living at white hall at the same time that is where he came to from whites co. ga. well kept in tuch j.w.

Hi Dalton,
i am descended from Edward Nix and Catherine Emeline Powell.. Your John Daniel Nix is Edwards older brother and the only thing I have to add to what you sent is Elizabeth J Roberts b. 1853 and m 1880 in Greene Co., Ms. to Edward Nix b. 1857
son of your John D Nix. There is a Nix reunion in Laurel, Ms. each year held in Sept. A good many there are into family research but mainly Edward Nix side. There are one or two on the Donald and King and Carter side. I can send you the date and location when I find out.
