Scottish archives have the will registered 1may1869 of Edward MOIR, residing at 275 St. Georges Rd., Glasgow, spouse of Margaret MCINTOSH (census). 1841 census registers Edward Moir (born about 1806 in Lanarkshire) and Margaret (born about 1806 outside Lanarkshire) Moir. Edward was an Iron Foundry Journeyman, resident at Grove St., St. Georges Field parish, Glasgow.
