  • per researcher Daniel DeButts: his grandfather didn't leave anything to grandson James Edward Hall in his will because he was broke and didn't have anything to leave. James Edward Hall felt left out and left Maryland for Virginia with his mother, sisters, wife [which wife, was it Louisa?] and child. His mother lived at Cumnor, between Markham and Linden, in Fauquier County.
