p. 45 of Todd Bolen's volume 1. "Edmund Bolling married 1744 Mary Sudduth, Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, Virginia. Edmund's siblings may have been Jean who married 1745 John Asberry, Johannah who married 1750 William Fuell, Elizabeth who married 1756 Robert Mays; all marriages also being in Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, Virginia. In the parish register is also the births of the children of Edmund: John born 1746, Nancy born 1749, William born 1752 and Elizabeth born 1757."

But it seems -- on the basis of the book and the BFA DNA test results --that Edmund might be a son or close relative of Benjamin Bowling, bc 1700 in Stafford Co., VA. Edmund is not mentioned in the DNA tests, but the two senior Bollings in Group 6 are Benjamin (Stafford Co.) and William (Orange Co.). Neither is credited with a son named Edmond or Edward, but Benjamin is said to have had a daughter named Elizabeth who married Robert Mays and a son named John who married Jane Asberry.
