    60 GENERAL EBENEZER HUNTINGTON
    General Ebenezer Huntington, 1754-1834, the half brother of Jedidiah, occupied this house when his brother went to New London in 1789. He left Yale College when the war commenced and served until the troops were disbanded in 1783. In 1810 and in 1817 he was elected a member of Congress. His four unmarried daughters were "the Ladies Huntington"
