    "Ebenezer (Bliss), of Springfield, Mass., tanner, (son of Samuel Bliss and Mary Leonard of S.,) was born July 29, 1683, was married in Jan., 1707, to Mary daughter of John and Mary Clark Gaylord (born about 1688-9) of Windsor, Conn., where in 1715 he purchased sixty-three acres of land of Jeremiah Burgess. He died Sept. 7, 1717."
