    Dutton & his brother, Tedence Lane, were both well-known Baptist preachers.

    Dutton married Elizabeth (Oakes) in 1758. Elizabeth was born in about 1732 in Orange Co, VA, & was the daughter of Charles Oakes #70413476 & Sarah (Haley).
