    KOMEN, Dorothy L., age 78 years, of 1154 Franklin Street, passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, July 16, (1957) following a short illness. Mrs. Komen had resided in Bellingham for the past 28 years; she leaves to survive, two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Henson of this city, and Mrs. Hilda Willis of Portland; two sons, William E. Uppinghouse of Mercer Island and Lawrence Uppinghouse of Seattle; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, July 18 at 3 p.m. within the Cathedral Chapel of the Westford Funeral Home, with Rev. W. Robert Webb officiating. Interment in Monumenta Cemetery.
