Robert Fittings purchased half of Goury Banks, about 300 acres, from his father-in-law on 18 September 1675. After his death, Dinah sold it to Patrick Hall on 21 April 1677. Her marriage to Robert was brief, perhaps lasting only a year or so before his death. Robert was alive at least until 25 March 1676 when he witnessed the will of Symon Hoges. The appraisal of his estate, valued at 7,896 pounds of tobacco, was filed 11 January 1676/7 and Dinah served as his administratrix. Robert had been dead for a period before the appraisal was filed as Dinah’s second husband died in November 1676 predating the document by two months. It is odd the appraisal refers to Dinah as “Diana Fittings” considering she was more recently the widow Holloway.

After Robert’s death, Dinah married Oliver Holloway. Oliver, described as “son and heir of Oliver Holloway, late of Anne Arundel County, desc,” sold his interest in his father’s estate to John Homewood on 12 October 1671 for 18,829 pounds of tobacco. John was one of the executors of the estate of the elder Holloway and was to hold it in trust presumably until Oliver came of age. Oliver settled near Fords Folly on a tract called Holloways Increase. Oliver died in November 1676 and a post mortem inquisition held 4 June 1679 returned his lands to the proprietorship for want of an heir though Dinah did receive her dower interest in the tract. Among the jury members who made the determination was Dinah’s father, Thomas, who was granted the land of his deceased son-in-law four months later in October 1679.

Dinah married her third husband, Thomas Lunn, before the June 1679 inquisition post mortem of her second husband. No information has been found about Thomas’s background nor have any references to he or Dinah been located subsequent to the inquisition.

Dinah Ford had no known issue with any of her husbands.
