Delilah Elizabeth Cartmill Harland, 58, of Portland, died at 8:00pm on December 21, 1920 at her home.
Dr. A.D. Bridges, of Portland, pronounced death caused by Lobar Pneumonia contributed to by Influenza. The informant was Thomas Harland, spouse of the deceased.
Mrs. Harland was born September 15, 1862, in Callaway County, the daughter of Henry S. (Born in 1837 in Virginia and died 1872 in Callaway County) and Sarah Janava McClelland (Born 1834 in Callaway County and died in 1909 in Callaway County) Cartmill. She was united in marriage to Thomas Harland and he survives. Mrs. Harland was a housewife. May also have been married to Henry "Buck"

It appears that Mr. and Mrs. Harland did not have any birth children, she may have adopted four children whose last name was Lindsey or they may have been hers and Henry's..
Arrangements were under the care of M. Kleen of Portland. Burial was in the Portland Cemetery.
