The household included one free white male under age 5, one free white male aged 40 to 50, one free white female aged 5 to 10, one free white female aged 10 to 15 and one free white female aged 30 to 40 (1840 United States Census, Windham County, Vermont, Population Schedule, Halifax, Page 133, FHL Microfilm 0,027,442).

In the 1860 US census, this family resided in Halifax, Windham County, VT. The household included Chandler Seaver (age 60, male, farmer, born MA, $800 in real property, $326 in personal property), Cynthia Seaver (age 60, female, born VT), Sarah Seaver (age 22, female, born VT) and Fransis Seaver (age 19, male, shoemaker, born VT).
