- David Price, his wife Joan and their six children, came from Brecknockshire, Wales, and upon their arrival, presented to the Radnor Meeting, 7/1/1690 the following Certificate: .'This is to certifye unto you from us whose names are hereunder written as far as we doe understand concerning the children of David Price and Joan his wife, as for their honesty and civilitie and good behavior we have not anything to say to the contrary but that they behaved themselves very well and yt they come of a very honest family; and as concerning any of the said children to be Ingaged or Contracted unto anyone breathing, we are willing to Certifye and to pass our words as far as this, That we doe neither hear of such a thing nor do we suspect of them anything of that nature but that they are free to make their Joyne."
