DAVID ARNOLD KING, son of Howard & Eva King was born Sept. 28, 1944, near Stockton, Mo. & passed away from this life on December 24, 1964, being at the time of his death 20 years, 2 months, and 26 days of age. He was married to his lovely childhood sweetheart, Dorothy Kay Williams, on Aug. 16, 1964. David was saved when only a boy in a revival held by Bro.Clyde Bough. He was baptized into Forest Home Missonary Baptist Church where he was a member at the time of his death. David & Kay were so happy the four short months of their married life but God in His great mercy saw fit to reach down & take them from our midst, leaving us with broken hearts that only He can heal. David leaves to mourn his passing his parents, a brother, Theron Ralph; a sister, Cleva Sell of Jerico Springs; a very dear brother-in-law, Teddy Sell and two little nieces, La Dean & Janet Sell; also his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Eugene & Hannah Mae Williams;five brothers-in-law, Gene Alden, Wayne, Danny, Mike, and Steve Williams; one sister-in-law,Carolyn Roberts; a grandfather, Ralph Berry and grand mother-in-law, Alice Williams and several aunts & uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.Last rites for this young man and woman were conducted in the Stockton High School auditorium by Elder Clyde Bough and the Rev. H.C. Dykes on Saturday afternoon, December 26, 1964. the relatives & friends who attended taxed the capacity of the auditorium. Interment was in Stockton city cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon funeral home.
