    DAVID C. GASTINEAU, 70, of Marco Island, Fla., died Monday.

    The former Fort Wayne resident was a medical doctor and founder of Parkview Memorial Hospital oncology department. He was a member of Summit City Lodge 170 F&AM, a 33rd degree Mason in Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine and Red Cross Constintine.

    Surviving are his wife, Philamon; a daughter, Pamela Hlavka of Daytona Beach, Fla.; sons, Michael of Fort Wayne and Bruce of Marco Island; a sister, Sue Flanders of Salem, S.C.; and nine grandchildren.

    Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 428 W. Wayne St., where calling is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday. A Masonic memorial service is at 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

    Preferred memorials are gifts to Parkview Memorial Hospital oncology department or First Baptist Church, Fort Wayne.
