BEE IT KNOWNE UNTO ALL MEN by these pntes that I DAVID MANSELL of the County of Rappa. & Prish of Farnham for divers good causes & valuable considerations me thereunto moveing as alsoe out of the natural love & affection I have and bear unto DAVID FRISTOE Sonne of DOROTHY FRISTOE one three yeare ould heifer and one Cow marked with a cropp & a hole in the Left eare & Cropt slitt & nick taken out from under the right Eare To Have and To Hould the abovesaid Cattell wth and every the female increase until! he comes to the age of one & twenty yeares and in case he the said DAVID should dye before he comes to the abovesaid age then the said Cattell to revert to me the said DAVID MANSELL or my heires but if the sd DAVID FRISTOE lives to the abovesd age then to enjoy the premises as abovesaid with every their increase by him his heirs forever. In Witness of the premises I the said DAVID MANSELL have hereunto sett my hand & seale this 5th Jully 1670

TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whom these presents shall come Know yee that I WILLIAM WHEELER of the County of Rappa have for and in consideration of Eighteene hundred pounds of tobacco and cask to me in hand paid and delivered to my content have sold and turned over unto ROBERT WOOD and I have by these presents sold unto ROBERT WOOD his heirs or assigns forever a parcell of land containing One hundred acres or thereabouts being more or less scituate and being in the County aforesaid and in the Parish of Farnham and neare unto FARNHAM CREEKE commonly knowne and called by the name of the HOGHOUSE LAND and formerly belonged to Capt. DAVID MANSELL (FIELD crossed out) deceased bounded Vizt. Divided from the land of GEORGE HOWELL and DAVID FRISTO on ye Eastermost side by a line of marked trees and also divided from ye land wch Mr. ROBERT BALEY layette claim unto wch line runneth on the Eastermost side of a PATH wch goest from the abovesaid house to the sd BALLs Quarter and runing North Easterly from the line wch divideth betweene the sd house and PETER ELDER his dwelling House almost to the said BOYLES QUARTER the said ROBERT WOOD to have and to hold the sd land with all houses and fences therein contained wth Profitts and emoluments wth all and every the appurtenances belonging to him the said WOOD his heirs and assigns forever paying the Rents and services thereon due and of right accustomed Furthermore I the said WILLIAM WHEELER for me my heirs doe oblidge by these presents that the said ROBERT WOOD his heirs or assigns shall at all times hereafter enjoy the said premises without the molestation of me the said WHEELER my heirs or assigns or any other persons whatsoever that may hereafter claime a right to any part of the said land Furthermore I the said WHEELER doe oblige myselfe in like manner that upon the reasonable demand of the said WOOD to deliver actuall reall and personall possession as his owne Right and interest and to confirme the same by ack ledgement in the next County Court in Rappa In Witness to all and singular the premises herein contained I have hereunto set my hand and seale this 2 day of Januarie 1674 and in the six and Twentieth year of the Reign of our Sovereign King &c.
