Inventory dated 1 Oct 1810 lists two parcels of land, worth $1,525, and a slave named Wm. HOLT. Partition dated 13 Nov 1813 was to settle estate of deceased Isabelle DUGAS; she had two children by previous marriage to Joseph PREJEAN, each to get $358.18. The six children with David CARUTHERS would have the remainder of her community property placed in hands of David CARUTHERS. On 10 Dec 1921 the court ordered a Family Meeting on dividing the community property. On 21 Dec 1921 a petition by his son-in-law requested partition.
