White, Capt. Daniel, Windsor. Invt. £917-11-07 plus. Taken 27 June, 1726, and 30 August, 1726, by Thomas Fyler, Samuel Strong and Alexander Allyn. Also, land in Hebron, taken by Timothy Olcott and Samuel Brown. Will dated 9 June, 1726.
I, Daniel White of Windsor, give to my wife Elizabeth White my plate or silver utensils, 1 silver tankard, 2 silver cups, and all my silver spoons, to her the sd. Elizabeth and to her heirs forever. Also, my will and pleasure is that my beloved wife shall have her dowry as the law allows to widows out of my estate over and above and besides the plate above bequeathed to her. I give to my son Daniel White my dwelling house in Hatfield, in ye Province of Massachusets Bay, and an acre of land on which the house now stands. I give to my son Daniel 9 acres of land lying in Hatfield, adjoining to the houselott above mentioned; also three acres of land lying in Hatfield the south meadow, known by the name of the 3-acre lott, in the middle division; also I give the 1-2 of that tract of land lying in Hatfield commonly called the Mill Swamp, in the lowermost Mill Swamp; also I give to my son Daniel White the 1-2 of all my improved lands lying in the Township of Hatfield. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas White my clock; also I give and remit to him all that he the sd. Thomas oweth or is indebted to me. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Joel White my whole right of land in the Township of Bolton, and also my house and the lott it standeth on in the Town of Bolton, to him and his heirs forever. Item. I give to my 3 sons, Elisha, Simon and Seth White, all my lands lying in the Township of Hebron, to be equally divided to them and their heirs forever when they shall come to the age of 21 years. I give to my son Oliver White 10 acres of meadow land lying in Hatfield; also the 1-2 of the Mill Swamp land so called; also the 1-2 of my improved land lying in the Township of Hatfield, forever. I give to my daughter Sarah Griswold £20 money besides what I have given her before. I give my two daughters, Lucy and Elizabeth White, £50 to each of them in current money. My will is that all my personal and moveable estate should be sold towards paying of my just debts. And I will also that my house and all my lands lying in Windsor, and also all my land not herein mentioned and disposed lying in the Township of Hatfield, shall be sold by my executors at their discretion towards the payment of my just debts. My will is that my executors shall give and deliver £3 in money out of my estate to the Rev. Mr. Jonathan Marsh of Windsor. And after my decease all the remainder of my estate shall be equally divided among all my children. I appoint my son Daniel White and Thomas White to be executors.

Page 132—5 July, 1726: Capt. Daniel White in his last will did appoint his sons Daniel and Thomas White not only executors but guardians to his children that are minors, to Seth, age 13 years, to Lucy 11, to Elizabeth 9, and Oliver, 6 years of age, sd. Daniel and Thomas White to be guardians to the children, appointed by the Court.
