About Daniel Townsend

Daniel Townsend is frequently listed as "David" Townsend, but is actually Daniel. Original document according to Harry Macy, Jr., Vice President of the Townsend Society of America, and Margaret Behme of Flushing, Michigan, looks like "David", but with further inspection was "Daniel" written poorly.

One source lists the wife of Daniel Townsend as Deborah Freeman, more research is necessary.
