Buried at the Flandreau cemetery. Acording to Morgan H. Seacord , a "well-known historian of New Rochelle", in the 1890's, his g ravestone still read: "The Grave of Daniel Seacord Born March 13, 1759. Died June 13, 1843." and his footstone read simply "D.S."
