Facts and Events
There were two Daniels in Cornish. The daniel living next to John Pugsley, in a deed dated 1802, was called a "taylor". In 1796, Daniel and William bought land together from Moses Jewett. In 1802 Daniel, "yeoman of Cornish" and William "blacksmith of Cornish" bought land together again. Daniel, husband of Patience Hamilton is the one whose will (YCP #7800) lists only one son, Isaac, and is administered by William Gray. There are some persons who include other children as sons of this Daniel, but his will clears that up. Ruth Gray, family researcher, states that she believes Daniel and William are brothers and the other children wrongly attributed to Daniel are William's. That would make Abraham, Jacob, and Daniel sons of William and Mary Walker. References
