About Daniel Gibson
There are few records of this Daniel Gibson. Through records regarding Daniel's son Daniel, who is listed in his father Alexander Gibson Sr.'s wills written in 1782 and 1794, and his brother, Alexander Gibson, Jr.'s will written in 1804. Daniel probably died prior to the writing of his father, Alexander Gibson, Sr.'s will written in July 1782, but had certainly died prior to the guardianship record of his son, Daniel, Jr., which is dated on 21 January, 1783 (listed below). It is probable that this Daniel Gibson died in the Revoluntionary War, since he was clearly young (somewhere between perhaps 23-33 years old) and in 1783, the war was still raging. Additional research is needed on this Daniel Gibson.
