   From The Kentuckians who came to Boone Co, Ky is the following.
   Grandfather George Rouse and Wife and Grandfather Daniel Barlow and Wifewere born in Virginia near Culpepper Court Housew. Soon afer they wereborn they all migrated to Boone Co, Kentucky where father and motherbecame acquainted and married. Father was born 1n 1802, Mother in 1806.Soon after they were married they came to Missouri. Soon after that,settled in the western part of Rall Co on the banks of the Salt River.Grandpa Rouse came with them and settled one-halh mile east of father andlived and died there. He and grandma were buried on a little rise ofmound 300 yds north of the big spring. Grandpa Barlow and wife died inKentucky.Father and mother had 12 children. 6 boys and 6 girls. Severalof us lie buried about 80 yds below the foot of the hill and about 80 ydsbelow the foot of the hill about south of the house stood......
   This was written in 1927 by John Wesley Rouse who started but nevercompleted his own obituary.
   He was born in 1844 and died 1927. His father was Lovel Rouse (1802-1884)who married Eliza Barlow (1806-1894)
