The following obituary appeared in the Greenville Advocate - Dale Marsh, 81, of 747 Primrose Drive, Greenville, died at 2:30 a.m. today at his residence. Mr. Marsh was born July 16, 1903 in Randolph County, Ind., son of the late Wilmer and Cora (Miller) Marsh. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He was a school teacher, having taught school for 33 years in Indiana and Ohio. Mr. Marsh, a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., was a member of the Ansonia First church of God and the Retired Teachers Association of Indiana. survivors include his wife, Opal (Cook), whom he married Dec. 21, 1929; two daughters, Mrs. Jay (Carolyn) Reed of Muncie and Mrs. Beryl (Kathryn) Henry of Bellefontaine; two brothers, Estel of Arizona and Thorold of Muncie; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ansonia First Church of God, with the Rev. Lee Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Union city Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Zechar Funeral Home and one hour before services Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may either be made to the American Heart Association or to the First Church of God in Ansonia.
