New Castle Morning Hearld, Friday 23, 1928 Personal Mr. C.K. Jacka, of Maitland Lands Office was farewelled yersterday by the office staff, on occassion of his departure to take up duty at Urana as Clerk of Petty Sessions and Crown Lands Agent. Mr. E. B.Williams, on behalf of the staff, presented him with a set of cultery and wished him success and further promotion s in the Service. Members of the East Maitland Tennis Club's parting gift was a cut-glass rose bowl.

It should be noted that Cyril certainly had further promotions-he ended up as Un der-Secretary of Conservation.
