Jackson Cullie 21 Aug 1912 19 Jun 1995 Hickory Grove WEST From an unnamed and undated article and picture located in the Lamar County Genealogical Society Library, in the Taylor Collection, Box J.: 'Roxton - Mr. and Mrs. Cullie Jackson of the Harmon community will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary Friday, Oct. 28, at their home. No special celebration is planned. They were married Oct. 28, 1933 and have always made their home in Harmon. They have one daughter, Barbara Salter of Ft. Campbell, KY and one grandson, Darrin Ladd, who makes his home with the Jacksons.'

THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, June 20, 1995, p. 10A.: 'HONEY GROVE - Cullie Underwood Jackson, 82, of the Harmon community died Monday, June 19, 1995, at his home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Petty with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Jackson was born Aug. 21, 1912, in Harmon, a son of James Buchanon and Maggie Marguerite Haynes Jackson. He married Cleo A. Rhodes Oct. 28, 1933. He was a farmer and rancher. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Barbara Spencer of Hopewell; one grandson, two step grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; one sister, Emerlee Baugh of Dallas; and one brother, J.B. Jackson of Harmon. Pallbearers will be Charlie Rhodes, Smith Ribble, Sonny Jackson, Denny Jackson, Mick Jackson and Gene Kirkham.'
