From an unnamed and undated article and picture located in the Lamar County Genealogical Society Library, in the Taylor Collection, Box J: 'Roxton - Mr. and Mrs. Cullie Jackson of the Harmon community will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary Friday, Oct. 28, at their home. No special celebration is planned. They were married Oct. 28, 1933 and have always made their home in Harmon. They have one daughter, Barbara Salter of Ft. Campbell, KY and one grandson, Darrin Ladd, who makes his home with the Jacksons.'

THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, Oct. 29, 2001: 'HONEY GROVE Cleo Jackson, 86, of the Harmon community died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital North. Cooper-Sorrels Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Hickory Grove Cemetery with the Rev. James E. Barnes officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Helen Ribble in Honey Grove at other times. Mrs. Jackson was born March 21, 1915, in the Harmon community to Charlie Judson and Ethel Matilda Branum Rhodes. She married Cullie Underwood Jackson Oct. 28, 1933, in Paris. He died June 19, 1995. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Roxton and was a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ralph Spencer of Hopewell; a grandson, Darrin Ladd of the Harmon community; two step-grandchildren, Jason Spencer and Jennifer Skidmore, both of Paris; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Mckenzi, Cody and Conner; a sister, Helen Ribble of Honey Grove; a brother-in-law, J. B. Jackson of Roxton; and several nieces and nephews.'
