- Bequeathed to: Wife Margaret. Sons Conrad and Jacob. Daughters Margaret Hellibrand and Molly.
- Grandson Martin Coons.
- Witnessed: James Lane and Alex Fraser.
- Executor: Conrad Wheat and Jacob Wheat.
- Note: Mr. Ebenexer Zane appointed guardian of portion of estate given to Martin Coons son of Molly.

- In the name of God Amen, This fourteenth day of March one thousand seven hundred & Eighty one I Conrad Wheat of Virginia & County of Ohio - Gentlemen being very sick & weak in body but of perfect mind & memory thanks be to god
- Therefore calling in mind the mortallity of my Body & knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make this my Last will & Testament that is to say Principally & first of all I give & recommend my Soul to the hands of God that Gave it. & for my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a Christian Like & Decent Manner at the Discretion of my Executors Conrad Wheat & Jacob Wheat nothing doubting but at the Generall Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty Power of God & as touching such worldy Effects wherewith it has Pleased God to bless me in this Life I Give desire & dispose of the same in the Following Manner & form-----(Imprimmis)-----
- It is my will & I do order that in the first Place all my Just debts & Funerall Charges be paid & Satisfied---
- Item I Give & bequeath unto my two Sons Conrod Wheat & Jacob Wheat my Real Estate of Land & Cash with all the Utensils thereunto Belonging------------I also desire my two Sons Conrod Wheat & Jacob Wheat to give unto Margarett Wheat my beloved wife the third part of my Land during her Life & after her death to return back to my two sons Conrod & Jacob Wheat to be divided Equally between them---------------.
- As for my Personall Estate I desire that it shall be Equally divided amongst my whole Children Except the share of my Daughter Molly whom I desire shall be Given unto her son Martin Coons & to be deposited in the hands of Mr Ebenezer Zane untill the said Martin Coons shall Arrive of Age to Receive it----
- (Margarett Hellibrand) my daughter has already received her share therefore no division is to be made for her--------------
- Should any of my Children die before my Estate Should be Divided their Shares I desire to fall on my two Sons Conrod & Jacob Wheat ---- ----
- --- ---- and as for the rest of my Estate I do give unto my two Beloved Sons Conrod & Jacob Wheat to be Divided Equally between them both: Land. Horses. & Cows & Every Individual thing about the Plantation for Ever & Ever ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke & disannul all & Every Other Former testament, wills Legacys & Executors by me in any ways before this date Named willed & bequeath'd. Ratifying & Confirming this & no Other to be my Last will & Testament-

Conrad Wheat Sr married Nancy Boone in Frederick County circa 1750. Sons named Jacob and Conrad Jr, daughter Lovely. Family moved to Ohio County Va (Now W VA) where Conrad Sr died. Nancy???? Rest of family moved to Kentucky then to New Madrid County Mo.
