    Deacon Clement Miner, born 12 February 1696; baptized 11 April 1697; son of William, and Sarah Beckwith; married Esther Lee 31 October 1722. During the French and Indian war, Clement served in 1st Co., 4th Reg't.; in May 1745 a Lieutenant and in October 1745 Captain of 2nd Co. in Lyme where he died 22 January 1756.
